Amazon’s Your Kindle Commercial Contest Entry
This was my entry for Amazon.com’s recent contest. It was not one of the three winners, but we had some fun making it anyway! I learned a little bit about working with kids as actors.
Filmed on the Canon HV30, audio via the Shure SM57 mic, lens was the Raynox HD6600, editing done in Premiere CS4, and Effects done in After Effects. Music by Incompetech.
Staten Island Ferry Hell
Footage of people storming off the Staten Island ferry in Manhattan during the morning rush hour. Just some after effects, video editing, and sound application practice. Frightening footage even without any editing. Filmed with the Canon HV30, Raynox HD6600, all sound added in post production.
Space Beach
Not by any means anywhere near perfect. Lots of stuff wrong…but this was my first experiment using these effects and technique. Just practiced my first time with particles and still images in AE with this video. A little embarrassed though because my masking job missed a few spots and the cam is a little jumpy for my taste. Haven’t had the time to fix it up yet! Stills taken at 6MP with a pentax K-x.
Thanks to Maria Bowskill for the instructions she provided here: vimeo.com/10000274. My goal is to be smooth like this on the next try: vimeo.com/1668653.
Music by Lasse Gjertsen.
