Space Beach
Not by any means anywhere near perfect. Lots of stuff wrong…but this was my first experiment using these effects and technique. Just practiced my first time with particles and still images in AE with this video. A little embarrassed though because my masking job missed a few spots and the cam is a little jumpy for my taste. Haven’t had the time to fix it up yet! Stills taken at 6MP with a pentax K-x.

NYC Snowstorm and a Pentax K-x
Some experiments shooting 720p HD video with a Pentax K-x on the day of one of the best NYC snowstorms we’ve had for a while. Shot with the K-x kit lens and edited in Adobe Premiere CS4.
HV30 – 35mm DOF Adapter Test
This is one of my first tests using a 35mm DOF adapter I built based on instructions I from jetsetmodels.info. The test was done using an old Adorama brand 70-200mm lens instead of the standard 50mm/f1.8/f1.4.
